This app should include a "Recently Deleted" section—similar to Favorites or My Uploads—where deleted clips are temporarily stored for about 5–10 days before being permanently removed. This would provide users with a grace period to recover accidentally deleted content.
The "Delete Favorite" function should strictly remove a clip from the 'Favorites' category only, and must not delete the actual video file from the system. A favorite is a categorization label—not an instruction to erase content. Removing a clip from a list of favorites should never result in permanent data loss.
Finally, even if a "Recently Deleted" section is not implemented, the app should not permanently delete video files from the device immediately. At the very least, deleted clips should be moved to the system's Recycle Bin, allowing users to recover them if necessary.
Alternatively, the app could consider adding a "Recently Deleted" feature as part of the Premium upgrade, giving users who choose to support the app access to enhanced clip management and recovery options.
