Option to have overwolf close when hitting x instead of minimizing itself to system tray

When clicking X on an application, the user expects the application to be closed. Some applications linger around and get docked in the system tray. But giving the user the option to disable that feature and quit and close the application after clicking X would be an intuitive user experience

hey i am trying to delete overwolf and it just wont close, like i closed it in the popups, closed the app, closed it in task manager, and i still cant delete it. I wouldnt even need to delete it if it didnt force download a clipping software that is trying to crash my pc

I find it frustrating when applications don't have an option to immediately quit all processes with one or two clicks. Requiring the user to remember that overwolf is hiding in the background has not been a good user experience. When I'm done gaming with an overwolf compatible game I want to be able to quickly free up resources and switch to a different game that doesn't need overwolf. I also do intensive tasks like video editing and video compression which take a lot of resources and time. If I forget to close overwolf then it's eating precious resources. If the concern is that closing over wolf while playing could crash a game, then maybe add a "are you sure you want to quit?" popup. I don't mind those pop-ups. Closing everything immediately doesn't need to be the default option, but I strongly believe it should be an available option.

I'm pretty sure they're talking about the overwolf app itself. It's doing it to me right now, I want to close the app by pushing the X. I don't want to minimize the app to the system tray. I want to close it. Why do I have to go through the extra step of going to the system tray, right clicking the overwolf icon, and clicking "exit overwolf." I can't find a setting to disable this extra step.

This fucking bloatware has half a dozen of processes running when closing the app like mobalytics. It should be a well known issue because you can find a lot of posts years back even

Can you share with us what apps are you talking about?
