Records specific selected apps

A feature to select which apps you want to record sound from. I listen to spotify while I play, however I want to only record audio from Discord and whatever game I am playing.

This is helpful for 1) Posting clips online (with music they can be copyright claimed)

2) For VOD reviewing, I share my games with others for VOD reviews and the music can make it hard to hear in game audio (the sound comes through louder in clips than in my headphones)

3) Quality of life, people listen to podcasts and watch youtube while playing. A feature to be able to mute certain apps like google chrome (or spotify) from Audio capture, would be incredible.

If I put it just on game capture for audio, it would not record discord or my mic, which is partially the reason I love outplayed so much!

Thank you for the clarification. In this case, I think the best place for this feedback is the Outplayed Ideas portal - https://ideas.outplayed.tv/

Hi, Thank you for the suggestion. I probably should have been a little more specific but I was suggesting a possible feature of ‘Outplayed’ the game clip recording app.

The suggestion was to video capture the game, but to only audio capture discord + the game audio. I call / comm on discord for my games and wish there was an option not to capture the audio of other apps running on my desktop (like Spotify etc.)

I don’t know if this is actually possible but was just posting as a suggestion 😅

Thanks a bunch for sharing your feedback! I just wanted to mention that some apps on Overwolf can actually capture your desktop. Just let me know if this feature works for you!
