If your videos are only lagging in outplayed but the video is fine in other players such as windows media player, VCL, etc. It might be because you changed the following setting. NVIDIA control panel >>> Manage 3D settings >>> Background Application Max Frame Rate. Make sure it is off or it matches your main monitor's refresh rate. (ex. Monitor 120Hz = Background fps 120).
